aljamiado writing ... Painting is the medium that helps me to explore deep states of consciousness described by mystics of various eras and traditions. That's the main reason that you find in my work makes constant reference to San Juan de la Cruz, Ibn al-Arabi or Buddhist philosophy.
The star of these pictures is an enigmatic female figure, which goes into itself for the journey through the "dark night" that will take to meet the Beloved, the divine nature with which end up merging in an eternal embrace.
